Facing with disaster(面对灾难)  

Right from the beginning of 21^st century, we have come across too many disasters in China. Government proves to be more and more efficient in the process of dealing with public emergency, while sadly many citizen are lack of the basic knowledge to protect ourselves when facing with disaster.

This Tuesday, we invite you to visit our English salon with the topic of “disaster”. Share with us your story if you have been in the mess of disaster; share with us your tips if you have been the hero helping others out of disasters. Further more, we will provide you with some Disaster self-protection plans in other countries，and some movie clips of disaster.

In addition, during the English Salon, we advocate donating to the victims of Sichuan earthquake. In the end of English Salon, we will deliver all the donation to sichuan victims through Wendoo.

走进21世纪，神州大地已经遭受了一次又一次的大面积自然灾害。然而，“天行有常，不为尧存，不为桀亡”，本次四川大地震，不是第一次大型灾难，也不会是最后一次灾难；这些灾难也正考验着我们这个为安定繁华而奋斗的国家。在赈灾过程中，政府表现相当成熟和有效率，那么对于我们一般市民，应该加强自身保护意识。

本期英语沙龙邀请您来参加我们的“面对灾难”讨论。如果您有遭受灾难的经验，请您为我们说出您的故事；如果您有赈灾救人的经验，请您为我们分享您的自我保护方法。我们也将准备大量资料，和大家分享国外一些自我保护和抢救身边人的经验。

面临重大灾难，我们节目也深感悲痛，为表我们一片爱心，本次活动将倡议参加“英语沙龙”的朋友捐献出您的一点心意，我们将设置现场捐款箱，节目结束的时候，我们将把所有款项通过问道捐到灾区人民。

【活动地点】天河南一路问道旅行生活馆（广州市天河正佳广场后面潮流站三楼）。

【活动费用】为支援四川灾民救命安家，我们将举行现场捐献活动，筹得现款全部捐与灾区人民。

【活动人数】 30-40人。
